How I decided to study social work?

 

Choosing study social work, it wasn´t easy for me, because I finished my High school not knowing what to study, i went to PSU, answered the test not knowing what to study, waited the results not knowing what to study, so i decided not to study that year, but they day of postulation i saw that my results was good, and my bestie Camila convinced me of entry social work together in the university of Chile, and i´m here.


Maybe you think that i entry only for my best friend or that was a hasty decision, but the truth is that social work was one option of my list about "what career will you choose?", it was in the second place, i´m just wasn´t sure of my decision.

if i think now, it was a really good choice, because i was always in activities for help others, since of school, when i was 12 or 13 years old, more or less, and also some of the song of my favorite boy band (BTS) talk about social problems, and when i realized they´re too many, i asked myself "what could i do?", and now study of career that focuses on it. 

If now ask me if i regret of mi decision, the answer is no, i like a lot my career, despite sometimes i´m full stress, and think about to quit my career, i don´t regret anything.

    I understand you, I was also in that situation of not knowing what to study but I'm glad you have chosen Social Work, I can tell it's something you like and I really hope you achieve your goals!

The best concert ever

Hi everyone On june 16th, 2019, is a special day. In this date i went my firts and only concert. I was very excited this day, because i´d see one of my favorite Korean boy bands up close, Got 7.  The´re 7 boys, JB (now Jay-b), Jingyoug, Younjae and Yugyeom are koreans, Mark is american, Jackson is chinese, and Bambam is thai. This are his artistic names, because, for example the rial name of bambam is " Kunpimook Bhuwakul ", is so hard pronounce his name, he can´t even pronounce his name. Before entering of Movistar Arena, with my bestie, we were met with other persons who bought tickets in the same area, and when we were waiting in the line, there was a lunar eclipse. (Fun fact: The title track song of the concert was called Eclipse). When entry, all was a chaos, were a lot noise and the screaming don´t stopped, but when the concert start, everything became in a green ocean.-The official color of the fandom and group is the green, and the fans we have a light stick with form

I would like visit

 Hello everyone ✌ In the last 4 years, my musical prefer, has been focused on Asian Music, principally K-pop, so visit South Korea, has become wish that i hope carry out.  Although it´s a small country, South Korea is known for your tourist attraction, Seoul Tower, in the nigth is adorned with ligths and can seen from all over Seoul;  Banpo bridge, in the river Han;the palace of ancient Joseon dinasty, where can rent a tradicional clothes (Hanbok) and takes pictures inside de palace; the Gamnam district is a party zone, the youngers principally visit this place; and exist a place called "Love Padlocks", where can buy a padlock with your couple and write your inicials and close the padlock. The tradicional gastronomy is an atractive undeniable, and the posibility of meet your favorite idols in the street, although is difficult, not is impossible.  When I can visit South Korea, i need go the Joseon dinasty, and rent a Hanbok, but as a good kpop fan, I would buy a lot merchandai

The Friendship post-concert

  In the concert of got7 in 2019, i met a group of persons that now are my friends. My bestie and I, before few days of the show, we make a group in wsp for talk with other fans that go in the same area “platea baja diamante”.   And since day don’t stop talk. We all live far from each other, someone’s live in different part of Santiago, other in Valdivia or Antofagasta, also Maipú and Melipilla etc etc. And getting together is difficult, also started the pandemic, then we started meet from Skype or zoom and we talk about whatever. Once we talked about our high school so we use google maps for show to the rest the place. In this year, in the summer holidays finally we could see each other, our meeting point was Patronato, and we drank bubble tea with tapioca, an then we ate in a Korean Coffe, we talked around two hours and then we went to Korean supermarket and couldn’t forget the picture with Park Seojun. Despite even though not everyone could go, was a great day.
